Yrjö Kukkapuro furniture chosen for Basso's living room

This spring, Basso, which focuses on urban culture, fresh music and current affairs, renewed its Living Room in the studio to serve as a meeting place for content creators, artists, influencers and brands.

The radio and content studio of Media House Basso is located in the centre of Helsinki in the trendy Torikorttelit area at Unioninkatu 25. This spring, Basso, which focuses on urban culture, fresh music and current affairs, renewed its Living Room in the studio to serve as a meeting place for content creators, artists, influencers and brands.

Basso Living Room serves as a foyer and hangout for artists and guests, and also as a showcase for Basso and partners in downtown Helsinki and its hustle and bustle. Basso was looking for interesting and surprising furniture for its Living Room that would fit the world and feeling of Basso.

In the Yrjö Kukkapuro collection, Basso was especially pleased with stylish black leather Remmi chairs (1969) and the CNC couch, chairs and tables (2011) representing Kukkapuro's more recent production.

“Yrjö Kukkapuro furniture crowned our new meeting place. We have been proud to welcome our guests to Unioninkatu, they loved the new interior, and it is perfectly natural for Basso to combine classics with modern style choices, both in the interior and in the content”, Basso Media Content Designer Henrik Suhonen tells.
