1. Yrjö Kukkapuro webshop customer service

It is important for us that you receive the products you have ordered from the Yrjö Kukkapuro webshop as effortlessly as possible.

2. Product warranty

All our products have a warranty of at least one year.

The warranty does not cover upholstery or the normal wear of materials.

 

3. Product returns

If the products you have bought are not suitable for your use for any reason, you can return them within 14 days of delivery. Contact Modeo customer service for detailed instructions for returning. The price and delivery costs will be reimbursed in their entirety to the account you have specified within 30 days of the product return.

For business-to-business sales (orders including business ID), the ordering and contract terms of online sales apply. For consumer sales, we follow the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act regarding distance sales (Consumer Protection Act (38/1978), chapter 6: doorstep and distance selling).

Returns are only accepted when the following conditions are met: The product must be unused, fit for sale and packed in its original packaging. Custom-made products (products that are manufactured, ordered from the manufacturer or modified according to the requests of the consumer) have no refund rights. If the product has lost a part of its sale value due to actions of the customer, the customer is responsible to reimburse Modeo the difference between the product sale price and price due to loss of value. The loss of value of the product is determined on on a case-by-case basis.

If the product can be returned normally by post, Modeo will cover the return costs. The buyer will be responsible for the shipping costs only in the case where the return shipment, for example due to its size or weight, requires a special transport.

 

4. Delivery methods

Modeo offers two delivery methods for orders:

  • PostNord home delivery: PostNord will deliver to your door at the agreed time. Delivery costs are same in Finland regardless of the delivery address. Normal delivery fee is 59,00 € and for Ateljee furniture 89,00 €. Large orders are delivered to a ground level and not carried to the destination. The pallet used in the delivery will be left for the customer.PostNord will deliver to your door at the agreed time on the weekdays from 8 am to 9 pm. You will receive a notification via SMS or email. You can change the delivery time or give an authorization to deliver your shipment without a signature via the link in the shipment notification. If you are not on site at the time of delivery, contact PostNord customer service to arrange a new delivery. PostNord delivers the parcels in a carbon-neutral way.

  • Pick up from stock: Orders made in the webshop can also be ordered directly to the Modeo warehouse in Helsinki (address: Nuolitie 20, 01740 Vantaa), where they can be picked up free of charge.

 

5. Webstore payment methods

Paytrail Plc (2122839-7) acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

6. Yrjokukkapuro.com Online Service License Agreement

This license agreement contains the terms and conditions of use for Modeo’s (hereinafter “Service Provider”) Yrjokukkapuro.com online service (hereinafter “Service”). By using, registering for the Service, or purchasing products from the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

All rights in the content of the Service are owned by the Service Provider and may not be reproduced without written permission, unless the content is an introduction to Modeo’s products and services. When using material copied from the pages, there should be a mention of the source of information, for example Modeo or © Modeo Corporation. The Service Provider has the right to make changes to the Service at any time, and the information on the Service is provided without obligation. The Service Provider has the right to unilaterally change the terms of this User Agreement by notifying the User by e-mail, in writing or via the Service. By using the service, the User accepts the changes.

If the user orders products or requests additional information etc., she or he will receive a User ID by filling out a contact form, whereupon the Service Provider will create a User ID for use of the Service. Thus the User registers as a user of the Yrjokukkapuro.com online service. Only a natural person or a legal entity or company registered in Finland can create a user account. Creating a user account is free of charge. The Service Provider may, if they so wish, refuse access to the account and service.

User-provided information is collected and stored in the Service Provider’s customer register. Obligatory information to be provided during registration for companies are: Company name business ID, user’s first name, last name, street address, postal code, city, telephone, email address and password. For natural persons, user’s first name, last name, street address, postal code, city, telephone, email address and password. The Service Provider reserves the right to disclose information outside the company. The Service Provider reserves the right to disclose information about the User to the authorities if the User has acted unlawfully and contrary to accepted principles of morality.

Customer register data may only be used for electronic direct marketing if the User has given consent for this. The User has the right to review or change personal information concerning the User through the Service.

The User is responsible for all use carried out using the User’s User ID and password, and that such use complies with the terms of this agreement. The User is responsible for keeping the password confidential. The User agrees to use the Service only for purposes that are consistent with law and accepted principles of morality. The User agrees not to post or send on the Service any material that is against the law and accepted principles of morality, or to encourage or promote such behaviour. The User is responsible for the purchase and maintenance of the hardware, software and telecommunications connections required for the use of the Service, as well as any other costs incurred in using the Service. The User is fully responsible for any loss or damage to the Service Provider, other Users or third parties resulting from the User’s use of the Service in violation of this Agreement, law or accepted principles of morality.

Disputes concerning this Agreement shall be settled by Helsinki District Court in accordance with Finnish law.
